Takashi's Tall Tales
 Yamazaki Takashi is a compulsive liar with the ability to concoct elaborate, highly-detailed tales on just about anything and everything. From using coconuts as volley balls to runaway strawberries, his tales are often inspired by the topic of current conversation or what is in front of him such as water yoyos or a teddy bears. For the most part, his tales begin as plausible but gradually become complete and utter nonsense. The only person who can put an end to his lies is Chiharu, who, having known him since Kindergarten, can see straight through him. Unlike others (Sakura and Syaoran), she is not fooled; she knows that virtually every word to come out of his mouth is a lie and will more often than not attempt to silence him by strangling or hitting him. If this is unsuccessful, there is always the option of dragging him away by the ear. During the third season of the series, Takashi gains a storytelling ally in Eriol. Being very knowledgeable and considered extremely intelligent, Eriol responds perfectly to Takashi's cues, appearing to have detailed knowledge on the subject, and subsequently reinforcing the false validity of the tale. At times, Chiharu is even at a lost to determine whether Takashi is in fact lying as his tales actually seem plausible with Eriol's input!
