Each volume of Cardcaptor Sakura published by Kodansha featured an original CLAMP illustration for the cover art as well as an illustration for the back cover. The illustrations used for the cover often featured Sakura in one of her many outfits, while the illustrations for the back cover where often 'chibi' versions of Sakura in multiple, and not to mention cute, poses.
